• Tear down and rebuild compressor packages and generator sets
• Repair equipment in a timely and responsible manner

• Occasional opportunity for field work

Requirements:

• Journeyman status: HET, Millwright, Automotive, etc

• Above average troubleshooting skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Driver’s abstract and pre-employment testing required
• Experience in natural gas compression or power generation would be an asset, but not necessary

Collicutt Compression Solutions Ltd. is seeking a qualified Field Service Technician to run Lead in our Service Trucks. The successful candidate must have exceptional organizational skills and be a team player that has the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The ability to work within a diverse and dynamic environment is critical.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting, in-frame overhaul, repair, and preventative maintenance on stationary natural gas engines and compressors in the field
• Maintenance and repair of other auxiliary compression and gas equipment in the field
• Mentor and train junior technicians
• Quick response to and resolution of customer needs
• Organization and maintenance of truck and tools

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years extensive knowledge within the Compression industry operating a Field Service Truck
• Valid driver’s license and clean abstract
• Valid Safety Tickets
• Able to pass Drug, Alcohol and Med/Physical as it pertains to a safety sensitive position
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Must be able to contend with the demanding schedule of field service work
• Able to provide a clean criminal check
• A high level of initiative
• Attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and organization skills
• Able to mentor junior technicians

This is a hands-on role where the ideal candidate will lead day to day HR functional tasks, while providing an entrepreneurial spirit that continuously finds ways to have an impact on the business through people practice.

Requires Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant post-secondary education coupled with 3 years experience
• Complete knowledge of human resources related policies and practices
• Full cycle recruitment experience, excellent knowledge of best practices including using social media in recruiting
• Working knowledge of AIT and hands-on experience with apprenticeship management
• Working knowledge of all aspects of employee benefits including RRSP
• Payroll knowledge an asset

Collicutt Compression Solutions Ltd., a leader in natural gas compression and power generation equipment sales, parts, service, fabrication, and redesign, is expanding again!

We are seeking an Electrical/ Instrumentation Technician to support the E & I demands of our Red Deer facility, and be involved in multiple concurrent projects implementing Electrical and Instrumentation related solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure our projects meet the instrument/control/electrical design requirements through problem solving and troubleshooting of equipment, as well as specification and preparation of new equipment requirements
• Provide day to day technical support related to instrumentation and electrical
• Provide strong customer service support and liaise with our customers’ technical experts as well as with internal departments
• Preparation of instrumentation calculations, data sheets, selection and sizing, wiring diagrams, and installation details
• Review and implement project specifications
• Confirm sizing and selection of a complete range of control and measurement devices
• Generate complete instrumentation and electrical wiring packages
• Maintain, program and repair PLC systems
• Interface with field technicians to troubleshoot problems between field instrumentation and the control system, and provide commissioning support
• Assist and/or lead hardware and software updates of control systems
• Provide guidance, mentoring and supervision to others working on the control systems
• Ensure control system drawings are kept accurate and up to date
• Ensure all control system maintenance procedures are accurate and up to date

Requirements:

• Assist Minimum 3 years experience in either Instrumentation or Electrical discipline within the Compression/Power Generation Industry; troubleshooting, programming, commissioning, installs, etc
• High level of initiative, strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Innovative thinker and positive attitude
• Superior communication skills
• Able to work within a team, and when required, independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in both shop and field environments
• Valid driver’s license, clean criminal record and drivers abstract
